Ladies and gentlemen, we have an update.

Dredg - [ El Cielo ] - Convalescent

Well, it has certainly been a while since I last made an entry in this here journal contraption. In fact, it's been seven whole months. As opposed to seven half months, which as well all know would simply be three and a half months. Right, moving on. =D

Although my user page may have seemed dead, what with the same entry for seven months and all, I have submitted a couple things. Most notably, works I created with my brand-new Wacom Intuos2 tablet which my parents were kind enough to get me for christmas. :w00t:

So without further delay, here they are :

While on the subject of art, here are a the most recent artists of DeviantArt that i have stumbled upon whom have impressed me thoroughly :
boobookittyfuck huang korridan lemontea lounge
Those are the only artists for now, more on the next post!

Random randomness : :tmnt1::tmnt2::tmnt3::tmnt4: I like my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles t-shirt.

Random quote : "walking off into the will of the divine wind {<japanese equivalent to kami=divine + kaze=wind}."
-Saul Williams' , said the shotgun to the head

I had the wonderful oppurtunity to witness Saul Williams speak live :megaphone: prior to The Mars Volta [link] putting on the best live show I have ever experienced in my life. It was a simply intoxicating combination that shall not be forgotten. And I say experience because that is just what seeing The Mars Volta live is. You don't listen to the music, you get utterly absorbed into it, feel it resonating in every single minute particle of your body. So what I'm trying to say is that if you ever have the oppurtunity to see a live performance by The Mars Volta, don't just grab it with both hands, wrap your entire goddamn body around it.

Hmm, music. I do love me some good music.
Speaking of, I'm going to see Opeth [link] tomorrow night with my good friend, Ben. Then on March 30th, him and I are heading to see Primus [link] as well. I'm looking forward to both muchly.

Band you should check out if you havn't already : Glassjaw [link] . :horns:

:meditate:

Let's see, I'm back at school right now. School being McDaniel college in Westminster, Maryland. I super love my classes this semester.

Survey of Western Art II : Ok, except for this one. This one I'm just so-so about. I certainly don't hate it though. :O

Computer Video Editing : What's to say about this class, it owns. Although it is Final Cut Pro on Macintosh, and I much prefer windows. :windows: Pah! I laugh at your one mouse button!

Public Speaking : It's cool, I get to talk, and I get to crack witty jokes while I'm at it [ or at least attempt to ], and I do enjoy making people laugh. I think this class will help me in general a lot as well.

Television Production : Other than learning the quirks of production, the semester is spent creating a fifteen minute short, shooting the film, and editing it. I'm appointed the director for the first scene which we shoot this coming wednesday. Should be as much fun as a wearing a beanie cap when you were a kid! :nerd:

Final randomness : Cranium r0x0rs my b0x0rs. :b0x0rz:
